Summer and Autumn 2026 Highlights: Celebrate The Nations Party, Youth Programs, & Community Support Initiatives

Events

Celebrate the Nations party is a highlight of our year. It is an amazing evening of food, culture and entertainment. Last year 250 people joined us, representing over 30 different nations. People bring a traditional dish to share, so the food is fabulous and plentiful, and many wear national dress and perform traditional dances. Please join us, Saturday 3^rd October from 6.30pm-9pm for a wonderful evening.

Our Better Futures project

The Chat Café provides the opportunity for all sections of our community to interact in a relaxed and welcoming environment. It will also bring together multiple nationalities, many of whom report that they feel isolated because there are no established networks for many of them due to their small numbers.

Many people whose first language is not English feel that they are not part of wider society. Learning the language is their first step into integration so providing a chat café will give them the opportunity to practice and connect with others from the local community.

English Lessons

Our beneficiaries have support for both spoken and written English rather than just conversation, we are setting at homework each session to include writing practice and for CV writing and practical learning in interview skills

Saturday café:

In supporting our local Ukrainian community as they continue to take refuge in the UK, many activities and initiatives have taken place to help with integration and well-being. Starting in September at Jubilee, Saturday children’s activities, songs and stories, reflecting language and culture of Ukraine, will provide a means to help their well-being.

Our Ukrainian Hub Café is expanding to include all nationality of refugees and asylum seekers. Having gained much experience from welcoming many different peoples into our café, we will expand the knowledge and support learned to all peoples. Everyone from the local community is most welcome to join them, Saturdays from 9 30am-1pm.

Parent-Toddler group

We have welcomed several new families. A vast variety of toys and plenty of space creates a great place for young children to explore through play, giving parents/grandparents/carers time to enjoy the company of others Parent-Toddler group will be closed for the school holidays and reopens at start of new school year in September.

Church Family

Our youth group runs every Friday during term time 7 to 9pm, games, fun and an opportunity to grow in their Christian faith. Thursday in term time, Youth discipleship . Dreaming the Impossible (DTI) camp over summer.

Holiday Children’s Activity planned for summer.

Ladies Group planned a Church picnic at Wyndham Park on Sunday August 3^rd.

Men’s Group meet twice a month.

Refiner’s Place

September 5^th at Jubilee Church -5 pm to 7pm

Revival is coming, and we desire to see it in our generation.

Refiner’s Place is a gathering dedicated to unrestrained worship where nothing and no one else matters but Jesus. A place of surrender, where we invite God to transform us and put us through His purifying fire and cleansing work so that we may reflect His beauty and glory to our generation. (Mal 3:1-4)

It is an interdenominational gathering that brings together worship leaders, musicians and believers from Grantham and other parts of the United Kingdom.

You are invited to join us as we lift the name of Jesus and believe for a revival.
