Chat Café
Tuesdays 9:15am-1:45pm
Our Chat café is warm and welcoming, offering delicious tea, coffee and cakes. It is a place to make new friends and feel part of the local community, something that has increased in value in these days of post lockdown. The café is a place to come and reduce loneliness and build new friendships.
As part of the Engage project, the idea for the café was inspired by members of the migrant community who told us they quite naturally revert to their own language once at home. They feel the chat café gives them the opportunity to improve both their spoken English and the confidence to use it. The café runs at the same time as our free English classes.
Come and join us to meet people from all over the world, here in Grantham.
Jubilee Ukrainian Hub Café
Saturdays 10am-2pm
This is a place created to support our Ukrainian friends both to come together with each other, and to meet with our local community. Everyone is welcome to join us.

The lessons are taught by a group of very friendly, retired teachers who all volunteer their time. We are able to offer support with B2 tests and the Life in the UK test as well as supporting beginners with none or very little English.
We are also able to help with CV and interview preparation for those who are looking to enter into employment.

Thursdays - 9:15am - 2:45pm (Term Time)
We have some great toys and activities available for you & your little one(s), including a soft play and a ball pit area. We are a busy but very friendly group and love welcoming new people. We encourage the children to engage in 'Free play' which provides unstructured, child-initiated activity that allows them to develop their imaginations. This creates a warm and happy atmosphere for all to enjoy.
Once a term we hold a clothes swap where you can bring your childrens outgrown clothes and swap them with others.
There is no charge to attend this group.
Jubilee Coffee Mornings
Wednesdays & Thursdays 10am - 12pm (Term time)
Jubilee coffee morning supports students up to the age of 25 with lifelong learning difficulties and/or disabilities, who attend Sandon and Ambergate Schools.
Working in the cafe gives them opportunities to build links with the local community, and helps to overcome barriers. Our heart is that in the future we take their experience of working in the community further with opportunities for training and work experience.
You can help us to do this, come to the café and enjoy some lovely tea/coffee and cake served by these wonderful young people.
